Kindergarten Vice Principal Beaten by Teacher and Hospitalized

Believing that the vice principal had spread a clip of a teacher beating a child, causing public outrage, a female colleague used her hands and feet to hit the school leader in Phu Quoc City (Kien Giang) in the abdomen, causing him to be hospitalized.

On May 25, the leader of the People's Committee of Phu Quoc City ( Kien Giang Province) said that he had received information about a teacher at Duong Dong Kindergarten beating the vice principal to the point of hospitalization.

"Let the police investigate and clarify the matter, then we will strictly handle it according to the law," said the leader of Phu Quoc City People's Committee.

On the same afternoon, speaking with VietNamNet reporter, Ms. NTBT - Vice Principal of Duong Dong Kindergarten said that she was hospitalized for treatment after being hit in the stomach many times by Ms. LTKD - a teacher at the school.

According to Ms. T, on the morning of May 24, Duong Dong Kindergarten held a meeting to evaluate and classify staff with the participation of the Board of Directors and teachers.

“The meeting mentioned the incident of a teacher beating a child that caused outrage last March. Ms. D. claimed that I had distributed clips of the beating, while only the principal could see the cameras in the school,” Ms. T. said.

According to Ms. T, after the argument, Ms. D. left her seat, approached the female vice principal, threatened her, and then used her hands and feet to hit her stomach. Ms. D. was then stopped by teachers standing nearby.

Because she was beaten so badly, the female vice principal could not leave on her own and had to ask her family to pick her up and take her to Phu Quoc City Medical Center for examination.

“The entire incident was recorded by the camera in the meeting room. My family reported the incident to the ward police, requesting clarification of Ms. D’s intentional injury,” said Ms. T.

Regarding the case of a teacher at Duong Dong Kindergarten beating a child in March, the People's Committee of Phu Quoc City disciplined many leaders and teachers of the school.

Accordingly, Principal NTH and Vice Principal NTBT were reprimanded for failing to check the classroom situation, providing untimely information, allowing teachers to behave inappropriately, as shown in the images taken from the camera on social networks. In addition, Ms. H. also violated the organization of quality activities to nurture andeducate children.

Four teachers were also disciplined with reprimands for violating the standards of teacher conduct, violating legal regulations, and not complying with professional procedures and ethics in teaching activities.
