After 6 months of implementation, the project was not only completed on schedule but also achieved and exceeded initial targets, receiving consensus and positive reviews from local authorities and people.
Periodic health check-ups for students and local residents are one of the typical activities of the project. Specifically, 2,810 students at primary and secondary schools in Tinh Hai and Mai Lam wards received general health check-ups (ENT endoscopy); 1,295 people aged 40 and over received in-depth examination and consultation on contents such as ultrasound, ENT endoscopy, blood pressure check, diabetes, etc.

In addition, the program also organized cervical cancer screening and gynecological health consultation for 324 women aged 18 to 60 in the two wards mentioned above. Through these screening activities, many cases of diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, ENT and gynecological problems were detected in time, helping people to be proactive in health care and treatment.
NSRP organized an environmental sanitation campaign, destroyed mosquito larvae and sprayed chemicals to prevent dengue fever in Mai Lam, Tinh Hai wards and Nghi Son commune.
In parallel with medical examination and treatment activities, in order to control dengue fever and raise public awareness of disease prevention, NSRP has organized two campaigns to clean the environment, kill mosquito larvae and spray chemicals to prevent dengue fever in Mai Lam, Tinh Hai wards and Nghi Son commune. The first campaign took place in December 2024 and the second was implemented in March - April 2025. Through the two campaigns, more than 12,000 households were sprayed with mosquito-killing chemicals, contributing to effectively controlling the epidemic situation in the locality.
Contest "Nutrition knowledge and practice" for women in Mai Lam and Tinh Hai wards.
Within the framework of the project, NSRP also organized a “Nutrition Knowledge and Practice” Contest for women in Mai Lam and Tinh Hai wards. The contest aims to help women gain more knowledge and practice nutrition, contributing to improving nutrition for themselves and their families. The contest attracted a large number of women, receiving recognition and positive reviews from the community and local authorities.
NSRP donated some essential medical equipment to Mai Lam Ward Health Station and Tinh Hai Ward Health Station.
In addition, NSRP also donated some essential medical equipment, including: 2 sets of computers, 2 Galy OT-12 electric dryers (20 liters), and 2 sets of mechanical blood pressure monitors with stethoscopes (ALPK2 - Japan) to Mai Lam Ward Health Station and Tinh Hai Ward Health Station, contributing to enhancing the operational capacity of grassroots medical facilities.
On the afternoon of April 28, 2025, at the hall of the People's Committee of Tinh Hai Ward, Nghi Son Town, NSRP coordinated with the People's Committee of Tinh Hai Ward to organize a workshop to summarize the "Community Health Development Project 2024". This event marked the completion of all project activities according to the plan.
Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Hiroaki Honjo, Head of NSRP’s Administration and General Department, affirmed: “We believe that the Community Health Development Project will make a practical contribution to raising awareness and improving people’s health care skills, thereby improving the quality of life. This is a clear demonstration of NSRP’s long-term commitment to the local community, in line with the motto “Trusted partner, friendly neighbor”.
On behalf of local leaders, Mr. Mai Sy Lan, Vice Chairman of Nghi Son Town People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated NSRP's positive contributions to social security, especially in the field of public health. He emphasized that since 2016, NSRP has not only made continuous efforts in production and business activities but also actively accompanied the government and people in improving the lives and health of the community.
