(Dan Tri Newspaper) - At Vinh Tuy Primary School (Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi ), HIUP, in collaboration with the Youth Pioneer and Children's Newspaper, organized the Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation for the "My Child Grows Up 2024" painting contest.


Spreading the message of love through art.

The "My Child Grows Up 2024" painting contest was organized to honor the image of mothers – their boundless love and silent sacrifices in their children's journey to adulthood – on Vietnamese Women's Day, October 20th, and to create a creative playground for young artistic talents.

According to the organizers, the event is not simply a painting competition, but also an opportunity for the children to express their gratitude to their mothers – those who always make unconditional sacrifices for their children.

MC Nguyen Hoang Linh - HIUP Brand Ambassador emphasized: "The competition is a meaningful gift that HIUP and the Youth Pioneer and Children's Newspaper want to give to mothers on Vietnamese Women's Day, October 20, 2024. We hope that the stories, expressions of gratitude, and beautiful memories from the competition will continue to inspire children on their journey of nurturing their aspirations and dreams."

Impressive scale and remarkable achievements.

After nearly two months since its launch, the competition attracted almost 5,000 entries from contestants aged 6-13 across the country. From Ca Mau, Long An, Kien Giang, and Ho Chi Minh City in the South, to Gia Lai, Quang Binh, Da Nang, and Hue in the Central region, and Hai Duong, Ha Giang , Son La, and Hanoi in the North, these young artists submitted colorful and meaningful works to the competition. Many entries also included written reflections, poems, or touching video clips.

The judging panel selected and awarded prizes to 42 outstanding works with a total prize value of over 60 million VND. The first prize was awarded to two outstanding contestants: Tran Gia Bao (Newton 5 Primary and Secondary School, Hanoi) and Le Ngo Nha Tue (Thu Thua Town Primary School, Long An ). The team prize was awarded to Vinh Tuy Primary School (Hanoi).
