Appearing at the press conference before the final match, coach Kim Sang Sik acknowledged the efforts of his players: "The ticket to the SEA Games 33 final is the result of the combined support of Vietnamese fans and the efforts and sacrifices of the U22 Vietnamese players."

There's a Vietnamese proverb that says, 'With perseverance, even iron can be sharpened into a needle.' The entire U22 Vietnam team has worked hard and strived for a long time, so I hope for a good result in the final match against Thailand tomorrow."

In response to a question from a Dan Tri reporter about assessing the skill level of striker Yotsakorn Burapha (number 9), the South Korean strategist commented: "The U22 Thailand team is well-organized and has many players with good individual ability, physical fitness, and speed."

Striker Yotsakorn Burapha has scored many goals in various ways throughout this tournament, so we need to pay attention to him. Defender Ly Duc and the entire defense need to defend well for us to achieve a good result. The Vietnam U22 team will strive to prepare for a perfect match."

Coach Kim Sang Sik added regarding the refereeing ahead of tomorrow's match: "The SEA Games 33 final is very important for both teams. I think the most important thing is that the players from both teams play safely and avoid injuries."

The role of the referee is equally important, and I hope the referees will do their job well to protect the players and create conditions for both teams to play fairly, so that tomorrow's match can be played to the fullest extent possible."

At 7:30 PM on December 18th, at the Rajamangala Stadium (Bangkok), the Vietnam U22 team will compete for the gold medal in men's football at the 33rd SEA Games against the host team, Thailand U22. This is a clash between two teams that have won all their matches in this year's tournament.

Vietnam U22 defeated Laos 2-1 and Malaysia 2-0 in the group stage, and beat the Philippines U22 2-0 in the semi-finals. Hosts Thailand U22 were equally impressive, winning against Timor Leste 6-1 and Myanmar 2-0 before defeating Malaysia U22 1-0 in the semi-finals.

This is the first time coach Kim Sang Sik has competed against his counterpart Thawatchai. The South Korean strategist has the opportunity to make history by becoming the first Vietnamese football coach to win the AFF Cup, the U23 Southeast Asian Championship, and the SEA Games.
