What is the Henley Passport Index?
The Henley Passport Index is a prestigious ranking that assesses the strength of passports based on the number of visa-free destinations a holder can access. This ranking uses proprietary data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and is analyzed by the Henley & Partners research team.
With a 19-year data history, the Henley Passport Index covers 199 passports and 227 destinations, and is updated monthly. It is considered a crucial reference tool for countries and global citizens to assess the position of their passports on the international travel map.
