Ho Ngoc Ha humorously: I sit in the hot seat of 'Talent Rendezvous' because the work is easy and the salary is high

Vietnam Television launched a new music reality show Talent Rendezvous from May 4 on VTV3. The show aims to harmonize expertise and entertainment, opening up an inspiring, sublime, and musically connected journey between contestants and audiences.

Mr. Do Thanh Hai - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television said that the decision to produce a completely new music competition like Talent Rendezvous was due to the increasing demands of the audience and the strong development of modern art trends, especially the musical tastes of young people.

"We hope that through this program, Vietnam Television will continue to play a pioneering role in discovering, training and accompanying young musical talents - those who are passionate, capable and have the desire to contribute to the country's music industry," Mr. Hai hopes.

Mr. Nguyen Vong Ngan, Head of the Arts Department (VTV) said that Talent Rendezvous has been invested in from format, music, staging, contestants, judges... to build a series of modern television programs aimed at audiences, especially young people.

"With the constant changes in the music market, we recognize the need to continue our mission of finding, developing and elevating young singers in line with contemporary trends. From there, the Talent Rendezvous program was born with the goal of finding a new generation of singers - not only possessing excellent voices but also having a distinct musical personality, professional performance ability and diverse styles," said Mr. Ngan.

The judges of Talent Rendezvous include singer Ho Ngoc Ha, Truc Nhan and musician Huy Tuan.

With such an unexpected and interesting combination, musician Huy Tuan humorously called it "harmony in instability" - a metaphor full of images about the different personalities of each member of the three judges. Musician Ho Hoai Anh took on the role of music director.

With over 20 years of experience, a symbol of innovation in Vietnamese music, singer Ho Ngoc Ha advises musical talents to create their own strategies and have a methodical calculating mind.

Regarding the reason for accepting to be a judge on the Talent Rendezvous program, Ho Ngoc Ha said that the program's new criteria are suitable for her purpose of pursuing music. In addition, she humorously said that this job is very comfortable because "the work is easy and the salary is high".

Singer Truc Nhan revealed that he will be the judge playing the role of "evil" but lovable. The male singer will give advice to the contestants to improve because he himself made many mistakes to be able to shape his musical personality as it is today.

Talent Rendezvous officially airs on VTV3 at 9:15 p.m. every Sunday starting from May 4. The show is hosted by two familiar faces to television audiences - MC Anh Tuan and Thuy Linh.
