(CT) - The Women's Union of Trung Nhat Ward has just coordinated with the Thot Not Agricultural Extension Station to organize a ceremony to award VietGAP Certificate and attach a signboard to the Thanh Phuoc 1 Safe Vegetable Production Cooperative.

Thanh Phuoc 1 Safe Vegetable Production Cooperative has 10 members, participating in growing water spinach, elephant ear, wild mustard, Malabar spinach, etc. on an area of ​​1.2 hectares; the output reaches about 42 tons/year. Currently, the cooperative members have an income of 400,000 - 700,000 VND/person/day. Joining the cooperative, members are trained and guided on the process of producing safe vegetables according to VietGAP, exchange production experiences, help each other in the production and business process... Thereby, contributing to creating safe products with clear origin, improving competitiveness in the market.

Currently, the Women's Union of Trung Nhat Ward maintains many effective economic models, such as: Thanh Phuoc 1 Sewing and Processing Group, Trang Tho B Sewing and Processing Group, Chives-picking Women's Group... To make the models operate effectively, the Women's Union of the Ward regularly coordinates to organize training courses and transfer techniques; maintains the operation of 23 savings and loan groups from the Social Policy Bank, helping over 1,200 members borrow capital for economic development, with a total outstanding debt of over 52 billion VND...
