On June 6, Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics and Technology (HOTEC) in collaboration with the Center for Research and Application of E-commerce and Digital Economy (CADE) organized a workshop with the theme "Application of e-commerce in teaching activities and supporting startups for lecturers, students and pupils".
The workshop attracted more than 300 students and a large number of officials, lecturers, cooperatives, and businesses in the fields of financial technology, digital transformation, e-commerce, etc. to participate.
The objective of the Workshop is to equip and foster knowledge and skills in applying technology for staff, teachers and students in the fields of e-commerce, artificial intelligence (AI), digital technology and financial technology. Thereby, helping staff and teachers improve their ability to access, apply and integrate new technology into teaching; orienting students to study, innovate and boldly start a business in the digital field.

E-commerce trends in the AI era
At the Workshop, experts, lecturers, representatives of businesses, cooperatives, farms, startups, online sellers, etc. shared information, knowledge, innovative startup experiences, trade connection solutions and access to modern financial tools; thereby, helping to increase the value of products and expand the domestic and international market for goods.
The workshop is also an opportunity for experts, businesses, startups, online sellers, etc. and students to exchange and discuss innovative startup models associated with digital platforms.
In addition, students are also introduced to places and models of paid internships, experience how to operate an e-commerce platform, access flexible financial solutions from digital banks, and are oriented to start a business in real life.
