On June 17, Lam Dong Provincial Police coordinated with Lam Dong Provincial Department of Education and Training to organize a seminar on identifying cheating behaviors using high-tech devices for more than 300 exam supervisors for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

At the training session, Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Nguyen Viet Tien - Deputy Head of the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention - warned that cheating devices are becoming increasingly compact and sophisticatedly disguised as ATM cards, eyeglasses, pens, belts, handheld computers, etc.

The provincial police have discovered many secret groups selling cheating devices online. Notably, there is a method of using artificial intelligence (AI) integrated in the sole of the shoe to record the exam questions, then transfer them to the outside to solve the questions using virtual assistants like ChatGPT.

"Current AI tools can process information at high speed and accuracy, creating subjective psychology for candidates and increasing violations," said Mr. Tien.

In addition, participating officers were also trained in regulations on protecting state secrets in the education sector.

Accordingly, the high school graduation exam questions and answers, which have not been made public, are classified as "Top Secret". Taking photos and posting them online can result in criminal prosecution.

The Cyber ​​Security Department requested the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province to continue providing in-depth training on cheating technology devices, and at the same time recommended that supervisors and exam supervisors proactively detect and coordinate in handling violations as soon as they detect signs of violations.

Authorities are also implementing professional measures to prevent negativity, eradicate fraudulent equipment trading lines, and strictly handle acts of spreading false information that cause public confusion.
