Support over 57 billion VND for 1,201 farming households to borrow capital

In 2024, Farmers' Associations at all levels focused on building and managing the Farmers' Support Fund well, which has become an effective source of support capital to help members develop the economy , create jobs, improve their lives and sustainably reduce poverty.

Thanks to the capital from the Provincial Farmers Support Fund, Mr. Ha Chi Thanh's family in Tam Son 2 area, Son Hung commune, Thanh Son district invested in economic development with a peach growing model that brought economic efficiency to the family.

Currently, the capital source of the Farmers Support Fund at all levels in the province is managing loans at 237 projects, with a total amount of over 57 billion VND for 1,563 borrowers (of which: Central capital is entrusted at 15.5 billion VND; provincial capital is nearly 21 billion VND; district level is over 20.5 billion VND). The Association has directly organized 16 training courses in 13 districts, cities and towns on the management of the Farmers Support Fund and coordination with the Social Policy Bank with over 1,600 grassroots cadres, heads of savings and loan groups; grassroots associations at all levels coordinated to organize 13 training conferences with over 450 members.

In addition, the movement "Farmers compete in good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably" continues to be maintained and developed at all levels of the Association. In 2024, over 131,000 households registered for good production and business; through evaluation, over 85,000 households achieved the title of good production and business at all levels, 40 good production and business farmer clubs were established with 460 members participating.
