Miss Xuan Hanh is in the Top 5 but cannot be the winner

As a major sponsor of the Miss Universe Vietnam - Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023 contest, Hoang Thanh Nga shared her thoughts about the contest: "When the results were announced, standing backstage preparing for the crowning ceremony, I was extremely disappointed and speechless."

She believes that a beauty queen should be a warrior with all the qualities of passion, beauty, health and experience to be able to represent Vietnam in the upcoming international competition.

"I also had a choice of a worthy female warrior but unfortunately she was not chosen as the winner. And I think most of us chose her because her aura was too clear and too bright.

When the results were announced, standing backstage preparing for the crowning ceremony, I was extremely disappointed and speechless. This was a common feeling for everyone and Nga understood that very well.

After the final round, I asked judge Quynh Hoa if this was a unanimous result for everyone. She said everyone unanimously chose her because she was like a rough diamond that needed to be polished and would become sparkling very quickly."

First runner-up of the 2022 Miss Universe pageant, Thanh Nga, added that she had participated as a judge in several rounds and recognized that Xuan Hanh was special and very beautiful.

However, she thinks Xuan Hanh deserves to be in the top 10 or at most top 5 but cannot be the winner.

"By following everyone's comments in the groups, I see that everyone has the same opinion. That's why there was so much outrage after the coronation information was announced," the beauty emphasized.

However, according to Ms. Thanh Nga, the criteria for beauty queens today have changed. It is not necessary that the individual has a halo and a place in the beauty queen world, or is experienced, has a large fan base, is loved by many people, has everything from beauty to ability, is ripe, just waiting to be legalized to be crowned to compete internationally.

Praising women who know how to change themselves, constantly strive to improve themselves and have the resilient strength like Vietnamese bamboo, always holding their heads high and rising up in all adversities.

"This is a new step forward and an open door for all Vietnamese beauty, no matter who you are and what you are like," the crown boss emphasized.

Besides, this crown boss also explained to Vu Thu Phuong that this model has been attacked on social networks in the past few days because of information about "favoring and supporting students".

She shared that she had judged Vu Thu Phuong in several rounds, including the photo shoot: "Xuan Hanh performed very well, her face was very beautiful and her posing was also different, very smart. After the round, she was one of the few contestants that Nga liked and was most impressed with. Phuong always gave Xuan Hanh a score lower than she deserved. There was a part where I gave 10 points but Vu Thu Phuong gave 9."

The crown was sponsored by runner-up Thanh Nga for the beauty contest.

The runner-up said: "The beauty queen crown will help you change your life to a new level, but for Xuan Hanh, this is just the beginning. This journey of Xuan Hanh is extremely difficult because she has to prove herself, conquer millions of viewers to recognize her as a worthy beauty queen." And runner-up Thanh Nga believes the judges made the right choice.

Besides, she also congratulated Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 runner-up Hoang Nhung. "Nhung performed very well and you completely deserve it."
