Who is the female IT engineer studying in the US crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2025?

The new Miss Cosmo Vietnam (Miss Universe Vietnam) 2025 - Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh was born in 1999. She possesses charming beauty and impressive academic achievements.

On the evening of June 21, the final round of Miss Universe Vietnam (Miss Cosmo Vietnam) 2025 took place in Nha Trang and the winner was Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh.

In the behavioral round, Phuong Linh was asked about international integration and confidently answered: ''For me, we are entering an era of equality and empowerment, beauty contests have a very special meaning. This is also what Miss Universe Vietnam is aiming for - to honor and affirm the leadership role of women. Today, women are not only companions but can completely become leaders in the development of the country. To do that, we need to constantly learn - from technology, foreign languages, economics to digital technology. I really like a quote from Barack Obama: ''When a woman is educated, a whole generation will change''.

The new beauty queen, born in 1999, comes from Ho Chi Minh City, is 1.75m tall and has measurements of 87-65-91cm. Phuong Linh has a sharp beauty, a sweet smile and a seductive body.

Her confident debating style and impressive performance skills helped Phuong Linh conquer the judges and win the crown of Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025.

Graduated from Washington University (USA) with a GPA of 3.6/4.0, classified as excellent, and completed a college program in Business in Houston with a GPA of 3.95/4.0. Phuong Linh is currently an IT technician at a technology corporation in Vietnam.

Previously, Phuong Linh worked at one of the four largest auditing corporations in the world as an IT auditor.

In the semi-final night, Phuong Linh impressed in the swimsuit and evening gown performances. She showed good stage presence and received many compliments from fans.

Throughout the 5 episodes of the reality TV show Miss Universe Vietnam 2025, Phuong Linh made a strong impression with her eloquence and extensive knowledge, understanding many fields.

"Any start or change makes me afraid, but every miracle is created from the moment we dare to overcome fear and take action," Phuong Linh shared about her decision to participate in Miss Universe Vietnam.

Sharing with VietNamNet, Phuong Linh said that she noticed the most obvious changes and growth in her life when she studied abroad. This experience helped her see the wider world, broaden her worldview, meet many talented people and realize that the things she knew were very little. This taught her humility and the awareness to always learn and improve herself.

One of the things that Phuong Linh is most proud of is her perseverance, effort and ability to focus highly when pursuing her goals. "I don't dare to say that I'm good, but I always try my best every day to become better, even just a little bit. I believe in laying each small brick, in a sure way to build the path leading to the set goals," she shared.

Phuong Linh especially loves pole dancing. She started learning it after returning to Vietnam: "Pole dancing often pushes me to the limit of safety and creates a feeling of fear. In the early days, when I saw the teacher demonstrate the movements, I could not imagine that I could do it one day, but now I have conquered it."

Phuong Linh once went through a long period of psychological difficulty. This personal experience is related to the mission she brought to the contest.

After winning the crown, Phuong Linh wants to realize the community project “Line2Life - A call for a life”. This is a mental health project focusing on responding to and intervening urgently for mental trauma in adolescents and young people who are struggling while creating an absolutely safe space.

In daily life, Phuong Linh chooses a gentle, elegant style.

Phuong Linh believes that in today's era, autonomy is a quality of women. "Autonomy is not only financial independence but also confidence and the ability to take control of one's life. An autonomous woman dares to pursue her passion, build a career and take responsibility for her choices. It is autonomy that helps them develop their potential and live a meaningful life," she emphasized.
