"New Year Concert 2025" resounds from Hanoi Flag Tower on the first day of Tet

The event is part of a series of special programs for Hanoi Tet 2025 by Hanoi Radio and Television on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025.

Instead of taking place in an auditorium or theater, the 2025 New Year Concert took place at the Hanoi Flag Tower (also known as Ky Dai), on Dien Bien Phu Street (Ba Dinh, Hanoi) - a particularly sacred historical relic for the people of the capital as well as for the people of the whole country. After more than 200 years of history, the building still exists firmly and majestically in the heart of the capital.

For the third year, the 2025 New Year Concert has been expanded to include 60 artists, performing in the grounds of the Hanoi Flag Tower. The symphony orchestra combines instruments such as cello, piano, flute, guitar, saxophone... promising to bring the audience a feast of music.

The program opened with My Homeland Vietnam (composer Do Nhuan), expressing the passionate love for the homeland of the Vietnamese people. Next, the audience will enjoy a medley of spring songs such as: Little Spring (composer Tran Hoan), Spring in the Homeland (composer Hoai Mai), Oh, Spring Is Here (composer Tran Chung), Tet Holiday in My Homeland (composer Tu Huy), Spring Chorus (composer Quoc Dung)...

Besides, there are indispensable songs with a strong Hanoi character such as: Spring in the rice and flower villages (musician Ngoc Khue); Spring in Hanoi (musician Van Ky)...

The New Year 2025 concert will be broadcast at 8am on January 29 (the first day of the Lunar New Year) on channel H1, website hanoionline.vn, Hanoi On application and on digital platforms of Hanoi Radio and Television.
