Kinhtedothi - On February 18, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Plan No. 43/KH-UBND on implementing the assessment of anti-corruption work in 2024.
The plan aims to evaluate the implementation of anti-corruption work in 2024 by agencies and units under Hanoi City according to the provisions of the 2018 Law on Anti-Corruption and implementing documents.
According to the City People's Committee, this is an important task that needs to be implemented seriously, objectively, scientifically and effectively. The results of anti-corruption work are evaluated both qualitatively and quantitatively.
Each assessment content has specific data and supporting documents to serve the explanation as required by the Government Inspectorate 's Anti-Corruption Assessment Council, ensuring objectivity, science, economy, efficiency, and close coordination between agencies and units with the City's Anti-Corruption Assessment Working Group.
The content of the assessment of anti-corruption work in 2024 is implemented according to the guidance of the Government Inspectorate and the Ministry of Index, the document guiding the assessment of anti-corruption work at the provincial level in 2024 issued by the Government Inspectorate.
The Hanoi People's Committee requests directors of departments, heads of departments, branches, and units under the Hanoi People's Committee; chairmen of district, town, and city People's Committees to organize dissemination, collect information and documents, prepare self-assessment records and develop reports on corruption prevention and control work of their units, and report to the Hanoi People's Committee on the implementation results (through the City Inspectorate for synthesis) before March 15, 2025.
Units are responsible to the City People's Committee for the content and quality of the report; prepare documents for the explanation to the Government Inspectorate Working Group according to the content of their report and the content related to the professional field of the industry. Units that do not submit reports, submit incomplete reports or submit reports after the above time will be considered as not completing the task of evaluating anti-corruption work in 2024.
In addition, the 2024 Anti-Corruption Assessment Working Group will assess and draft a report assessing the 2024 anti-corruption work of the City People's Committee, and submit it to the City People's Committee before April 15, 2025. The City People's Committee will approve and send the report assessing the city's 2024 anti-corruption work to the Government Inspectorate before April 30, 2025.
