The contest took place at Krong Ana District Ethnic Boarding High School with the main theme: "Propaganda of the law - Joining hands to eliminate child marriage and incestuous marriage".
The competition was attended by 12 teams, each consisting of 4 ethnic minority students with artistic talent and good presentation skills. The teams directly drew pictures on A3 paper and then presented, introducing the strong message that their work wanted to convey about completely eliminating early marriage and incestuous marriage.

The contest is a practical activity to promote and disseminate legal knowledge on drug prevention, school violence, child sexual abuse, especially the determination to eliminate child marriage and incestuous marriage. Through the paintings, the students spread meaningful messages such as: "No child marriage, no incestuous marriage!", "Join hands to eliminate child marriage and incestuous marriage!", "Raise awareness, protect public health", "Incestuous marriage weakens the race" and "Child marriage and incestuous marriage are violations of the law!".
The language of painting has helped students gain a deeper understanding of how to protect themselves and take care of adolescent reproductive health, thereby demonstrating a strong will to completely eliminate early marriage and incestuous marriage. The contest also called on the community to raise awareness and responsibility in building a healthy, civilized, orderly and safe living environment for the comprehensive development of the young generation.
The judges highly appreciated the entries as the teams followed the rules, adhered to the theme and completed the work on time. Many works expressed creative ideas and messages, suitable for students, especially the strong determination to eliminate early marriage and incestuous marriage.
In the end, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 First Prizes, 4 Second Prizes and 4 Third Prizes to grades 6, 7, 8 and 9. In particular, the most impressive presentation award was given to the first prize winning team of grade 7 with a presentation that clearly demonstrated the determination to eliminate backward customs.
Ms. H'Ban Nie Kdam, Head of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Department of Krong Ana district, affirmed her determination to continue efforts to minimize and eventually eliminate child marriage among ethnic minorities in the district, while maintaining the result of no more consanguineous marriages. She emphasized that the coordination of local authorities in propaganda work and raising awareness among people is a key factor.
The district's Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions has been implementing many activities to raise awareness about the harmful effects of early marriage and consanguineous marriage, as well as reproductive health care in villages and schools such as training, mobile film screenings, and coordinating with the district police to propagate the prevention of child sexual abuse. In the context of preparing for the merger, the department has handed over this important content to the new communes to continue implementing with the highest determination to completely eliminate early marriage and consanguineous marriage.
Ms. H'Ban Nie Kdam emphasized: "The long-term solution to completely eliminate child marriage and incestuous marriage is to change students' awareness. When students have the right awareness, they will take the right actions and we will no longer have child marriage. Therefore, the Department has coordinated with the district's professional departments and schools to organize this meaningful contest, strongly spreading the message of a future without child marriage and incestuous marriage in the district."
