Candidates exchange after the Math exam
Candidate Diep Tuan Khang said: "I am confident that I can do about 75% of this test. The first 5 questions are quite okay, but starting from questions 6 and 7, I find it difficult, especially question 6."
Candidate Nguyen Nhu Quynh at the same exam site also commented: "I think this year's exam is easier than last year's, but with my ability, I will probably only get 6-7 points. This afternoon, I won't dare look at the suggested answers online for fear of making me even sadder."
Math exam for 10th grade public school entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025
On the afternoon of June 7, candidates registering for specialized schools will continue to take the specialized subject exam.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, this year's exam has more than 76,400 candidates registered, while the total enrollment quota of public high schools is 70,070, meaning about 91.7% of candidates have a chance to be admitted. In addition, private schools also provide nearly 19,500 quotas, helping to create more learning opportunities for students.
With a large number of open quotas, the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City this year is considered "easier" than previous years. However, the differentiation in the exam is still a factor that makes many students feel it is not easy to achieve a perfect score.
