Located in the southeast of Nha Trang City, Dong Bo is considered one of the unique revolutionary bases. With the highlight being a series of thousands of rocks forming a cave more than 20km long, this base sheltered revolutionary soldiers (this place is also known as Da Hang Secret Zone).
From early morning on March 10, the children wearing bucket hats, carrying backpacks and drinking water began their journey to experience trekking through forests, wading through streams, and climbing the towering, vertical paths leading up to the mountain area.

Wartime space is recreated through statues, work scenes... placed in caves deep in the mountains.
When stopping at a rest stop, students will be asked questions related to the base.
In addition, students are also taught to make a mobile stretcher from simple items such as a blanket and two wooden bars, which soldiers often use during wartime to assist in transporting and treating the wounded.
Chau Le Bao Tam, a student at Vinh Tho Primary School, said: "The trip helped me with many life skills, especially using a stretcher to move injured people in the caves and crevices of Dong Bo base."

Doan Nguyen Tram Anh, a student at Nguyen Van Troi High School, said: "Through this trip, I learned more lessons about history and learned more about my homeland decades ago. Thanks to that, I deeply felt the sacrifices of my ancestors."
According to Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Truc, a teacher at Vinh Tho Primary School, this is a useful resource activity for students, helping them to be more proud and appreciate the achievements of their ancestors and providing them with knowledge of local history.

Dong Bo base area was once the revolutionary base of the army and people of Khanh Hoa for 30 years from 1945 to 1975. With an area of about 80km2 , the base is an area with a system of high mountain ranges, long arcs, creating a solid wall.
Dong Bo is an interesting tourist destination, with places such as Da Hang, Thi Uy, Doc Gao, Ong Phat, Trang E, Song Lo...
Visiting the war zone, tourists will see the relics of the resistance war, which are large wooden trees used as pillars to support the roof or as walkways. In addition, this place also preserves bamboo stalls, thickly packed firewood used as beds, floors for meetings, art performances, etc.
