Military Technical Academy awarded 183 outstanding collectives and individuals in the emulation movement to win.

TPO - Today, September 23, the Military Technical Academy organized the Emulation Congress for the period 2019-2024.

According to the report of the Military Technical Academy, over the past 5 years, the "Determination to Win" emulation movement has directly contributed to building agencies and units that are strong in politics , ideology, ethics, organization and staff; building a team of cadres, lecturers, staff, students and soldiers with steadfast political will, high determination, ready to receive and complete all tasks well.

The annual evaluation results of the Party organization quality are over 88% completing their tasks well and excellently, and over 93% of Party members completing their tasks well and excellently. 1,989 outstanding people have been trained and admitted into the Party.

Implementing the motto "The quality of the school's training is the combat readiness of the unit", actively and synchronously deploying solutions to strengthen the connection between the school and the unit. Over the past 5 years, the Academy has trained 94 PhDs, 1,349 Masters, 878 mid-level and division-level technical command officers, 166 post-graduate training officers in Science, Technology and Environment management, 2,247 military engineers, 3,000 civil engineers.

Many lecturers have overcome difficulties, teaching many subjects at the same time with a teaching load two or three times higher than the norm, but still remain responsible, enthusiastic, constantly researching and innovating teaching methods to excellently complete their tasks. In the past 5 years, 354 lecturers have achieved the title of "Excellent Lecturer", 73 lecturers have achieved the title of "Good Lecturer".

The emulation movement "Determination to Win" contributes to promoting the development of science and technology activities, conquering new heights.

Science and technology activities are always focused on by the Academy and closely linked with the emulation movement to win. With a team of highly qualified scientific and technical staff, the Academy has established 18 strong research groups. Chaired and participated in the implementation of 1,018 scientific and technological topics and tasks at all levels, of which 811 topics and tasks were accepted with 62 national topics and tasks, 40 ministerial topics and tasks, 48 ​​industry-level topics and tasks, 655 Academy-level topics and tasks and 6 science and technology contracts. Implemented and completed more than 1,000 party B science and technology service contracts with a total value of over 1,500 billion VND.

In particular, during the COVID-19 epidemic prevention period, the Academy has well organized the research, design and manufacture of scientific and technological products to serve the work of disease prevention and control. The products "Medical robot for transport in high-risk infectious disease isolation areas" and "MTA-K1 crematorium" have a wide range of influence and set an example in the entire army and the whole country, and were awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the President.

Identifying advanced models as an important factor, the core of the emulation movement to win associated with effectively implementing the political tasks of the unit, the Academy has focused on training and perfecting the model of building comprehensive and typical advanced models in each field of work, focusing on building advanced typical collectives and individuals in training, scientific research, building a strong and comprehensive unit "Exemplary, typical".

Speaking at the Congress, Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, emphasized that in order to improve the quality of education, training, and scientific research, the Military Technical Academy needs to continue to promote the implementation of the "Academy Development Planning Project to 2030, with a vision to 2045", in conjunction with the strategies and projects of the State and the Ministry of National Defense on education, training, and scientific research.

Strive to develop the Academy into a research university, providing high-quality military science and technology human resources for the army and serving the country's industrialization and modernization.

To promote the Emulation Movement for Victory, Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh suggested that the Academy focus on implementing the motto "The quality of training of the school is the combat readiness of the unit" and 3 essentials: "Real teaching, real learning, real testing and evaluation of results"...

In addition, the Academy needs to closely link the emulation movement to victory with promoting scientific research, innovation, and technical improvement movements. Improve the quality of research on new scientific topics to better serve the modernization of the army.

At the conference, the Academy awarded 27 typical advanced collectives and 158 typical advanced individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to win.
