The Congress evaluated and summarized the workers' movement and trade union activities in the period of 2018-2023 with many outstanding results, namely: The Party Committee, Board of Directors and Party committees and commanders at all levels in the Army Academy always thoroughly grasp, deploy and strictly implement the resolutions, directives and plans of the superiors on the workers' movement and trade union activities.

The grassroots trade union executive committees at the units are united, make efforts, are creative, and build many effective models, contributing to promoting democracy, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of defense workers and employees, and basically completing the set targets and tasks.

Every year, through evaluation and classification, 100% of grassroots trade unions are strong, of which 50% are excellently strong, over 80% of union members are party members who have completed their tasks well, organized the purchase, reception, and transportation of 77.6 tons of agricultural products to support hospitals and military units in the Southern region during the Covid-19 pandemic, 5 scientific topics and 7 technical initiatives were applied to production, 25 outstanding union members were honored to be admitted to the Party...

Regarding the direction and tasks for the 2023-2028 period, the congress determined to continue to care for and build a team of cadres, union members, and workers with strong political will, high professional qualifications, and highly promote the right to mastery of workers, focusing on implementing two breakthroughs: Promoting research, exploitation, use and effective application of information technology, improving the quality of activities of grassroots union organizations. Focusing on training and building a team of cadres and union members of the academy according to the standards of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new period.
