Hoi An votes for typical rural industrial products in 2024

Products participating in the vote are divided into groups including handicraft products; products for preserving and processing agricultural, forestry, aquatic and food products; products of equipment, machinery, tools and mechanical spare parts and other product groups.

The selection of typical rural industrial products is carried out based on basic criteria such as market response and production development capacity; economic - technical - social and environmental criteria; cultural and aesthetic values.

The city encourages products in the supporting industry and mechanical engineering; products with strong regional cultural characteristics, environmentally friendly, highly applicable, associated with tourism and service development.

From July 15 to July 30, Hoi An City will organize a vote for typical rural industrial products at the city level, summarize, recognize the results and prepare a registration file to participate in the provincial vote.

The organization of the vote for typical rural industrial products aims to honor products with high quality, high usage value, potential for production development, market expansion, meeting consumer tastes, associated with the OCOP program, creative startup program.

Thereby, applying policy mechanisms to support improving production productivity and increasing product quality to meet customer tastes; encouraging and motivating businesses and production facilities to develop high-quality products to compete in the market.
