Thang Binh - Que Son Inter-District Social Insurance gives 10 health insurance cards to poor households

At the program, the Social Insurance (SI) of Thang Binh - Que Son district presented 10 health insurance cards to near-poor households of Binh Giang commune (Thang Binh). The SI cards are valid from May 19 and are used within 1 year. The funding source was mobilized by the People's Committee of Binh Giang commune, Mr. Bui Van Hung - a native son of Binh Hoa village.

The entire Binh Giang commune currently has 107 poor and near-poor households according to the multidimensional poverty standard, of which 41 are near-poor households. Through screening, 31 of the near-poor households have purchased health insurance cards, while the remaining 10 have not. Binh Giang commune has mobilized donors to support money to buy cards for 10 households.

Mr. Nguyen Canh Dung - Director of Thang Binh - Que Son Inter-District Social Insurance said that right after this conference, the Inter-District Social Insurance will launch a campaign for each cadre and civil servant to donate half a day's salary to save money to support health insurance cards for difficult cases in the remaining localities. The issuance of health insurance cards this time will help households that are unfortunately sick or ill when going to the doctor to receive medical treatment to be paid by the health insurance fund so that they can proactively participate in health insurance.
