Talks on the search and collection of remains of Vietnamese martyrs who died in Laos

Receiving and working with the delegation was Colonel Som Chit Ni La Phon - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commander, Deputy Head of the Special Work Department of Sekong province.

In the friendly atmosphere, full of special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, the two sides evaluated the results of the coordination in carrying out the task of searching, collecting and collecting martyrs' remains in the dry season of 2024 - 2025 in Sekong province. The Lao side highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and effectiveness of the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team 192 ( Hue City Military Command), especially the close connection with the Party Committee, authorities and people of the localities where the task was carried out.

Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Hoang Van Nhan expressed his deep gratitude to the Party Committee, government and people of Lao ethnic groups, especially Sekong province, for always caring and creating favorable conditions for Team 192 to successfully complete its noble mission - bringing the heroic martyrs back to their motherland.

At the same time, Colonel Hoang Van Nhan requested the Sekong Provincial Special Task Force to continue to pay attention, direct localities and mobilize people to provide information about martyrs' graves, and closely coordinate with Team 192 in the search and collection work. The two sides will continue to promote cooperation in the military -defense field, maintain border security and strengthen the traditional friendship between the armies and people of the two countries.

On this occasion, the Hue City Military Command presented the Sekong Provincial Military Command with a gift from the Hue City People's Committee, and also sent the unit 2 sets of computers to support professional work.
