At the meeting, the People's Council of Hung Yen province carried out the procedure to dismiss the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province for the 2021-2026 term and to remove comrade Nguyen Khac Than from the duties of a delegate of the 17th Provincial People's Council due to being assigned other work by competent authorities; voted to elect Deputy Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee Pham Quang Ngoc to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province for the 2021-2026 term.
