Dien Ban Town Women's Union gives gifts to Dong Giang women

(QNO) - On May 28, the Women's Union of Dien Ban town organized a gift giving ceremony for women in especially difficult circumstances in Dong Giang district (twinning unit).

Dien Ban Town Women's Union presented 30 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to poor and single women in Za Hung commune; presented 6 sanitation facilities (10 million VND/facility) to women in especially difficult circumstances in Arooi commune; presented 20 scholarships (each worth 500,000 VND) to excellent female students of Me Thu Secondary School.

Through activities to encourage mountainous women to strive for socio -economic development, poverty reduction, and promote their role in the family and community.
