Conference on guiding the pilot implementation of digital transcripts for junior high school, high school and continuing education levels

The conference was attended by 450 delegates, including leaders and experts from specialized departments of the Department of Education and Training, representatives from district, town and city departments of education and training, educational institutions in the province and technology solution providers such as VNPT and Viettel Quang Ninh.

The conference aims to implement Plan No. 367/KH-SGDĐT dated April 4, 2025, contributing to promoting digital transformation in the education sector, aiming to build and operate a synchronous, safe and effective digital transcript system. The conference's content focuses on guiding the creation, management, use and connection of digital transcript data with industry and national databases; discussing technical solutions, infrastructure conditions, and human resources for pilot implementation at 100% of educational institutions with junior high school, high school and continuing education levels in the 2024-2025 school year.

At the conference, delegates heard reports on the current situation and implementation plan, data security solutions, and technical solutions of service providers. At the same time, educational institutions also shared advantages, difficulties, and proposed solutions to effectively implement the digital transcript pilot.

Quang Ninh Department of Education will pilot digital transcripts in the 2024-2025 school year at 100% of educational institutions at secondary, high school and continuing education levels in the province. From May 2025, schools will begin creating digital transcripts in parallel with paper transcripts (printed from software) to ensure legality and serve administrative procedures. Data transfer will be completed before August 20, 2025. Educational institutions are required to complete IT infrastructure, equip digital certificates and digital signatures for 100% of teachers and administrators participating in creating and managing digital transcripts.

The implementation of digital transcripts is expected to create a breakthrough in student records management, improve school administration efficiency, and at the same time not incur costs for learners.
