Conference to review the work of the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2025

On June 17, 2025, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions held a conference to review the work of the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2025, to assess the situation and results achieved, and at the same time point out limitations and difficulties, thereby proposing tasks and solutions to implement in the last 6 months of 2025. The conference was chaired by Mr. Lam Van Vien, Deputy Director, and attended by all civil servants and employees of the department.

Overview of the Conference

Comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong, Chief of the Department's Office, briefly reported on the situation, the results of the first 6 months of the year, and the deployment of tasks for the last 6 months of 2025. The report pointed out the tasks that the Department had performed well in the first 6 months of the year, such as: Well implementing the organization arrangement, issuing documents assigning tasks to the Department's leaders , specialized departments, civil servants and employees in the unit , decisions to issue regulations on organizing the implementation of the Department's tasks after the merger ; well implementing the key tasks in 2025; promptly advising the Provincial People's Committee on documents and plans to implement ethnic policies and the National Target Program on economic and social development for ethnic minority and mountainous areas (DTTS&MN) in the province; State management of religious and belief activities has been strengthened ; Advise on resolving arising issues promptly and in accordance with the law; the security, political, social order and safety situation in the ethnic minority and mountainous areas is basically stable; ethnic minorities trust the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province.

At the conference, leaders and civil servants participated in speaking frankly, pointing out the advantages, limitations, and difficulties in the first 6 months of 2025.

At the end of the conference, comrade Lam Van Vien, Deputy Director of the Department chaired the conference and concluded: Commending the results achieved in the first 6 months of the year and assigning tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2025, focusing on a number of tasks: First , continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement resolutions, directives, conclusions, and regulations of the Party, National Assembly , Government, and Prime Minister on ethnic affairs and ethnic policies, especially the National Target Program on economic and social development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, including projects and sub-projects invested by the Department; second , continue to do a good job of advising on the implementation of eliminating temporary houses, dilapidated houses, and developing social housing in the province to ensure compliance with the set plan; Third , proactively advise the Provincial People's Committee to organize visits and congratulations to religious dignitaries and officials on the occasion of related holidays in the last 6 months of 2025; fourth, well implement the work of synthesizing and organizing cadres; administrative reform, digital transformation; promptly resolve petitions, complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections according to regulations...
