Training conference on "Implementing medical history checks and catch-up vaccinations for children entering preschools and primary schools in Cao Bang province"

During the 2 days of November 10-11, the Center for Disease Control organized a training conference on "Implementing medical history checks and catch-up vaccinations for children entering preschools and primary schools in Cao Bang province" for 166 trainees who are experts from the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Culture and Society under the People's Committees of communes/wards; representatives of leaders and officials of the Department of Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases under the Center for Disease Control; representatives of leaders and officials in charge of expanded immunization work at the Medical Centers, Commune and Ward Health Stations.

Comrade Nong Tri Truyen, Deputy Director of the Center for Disease Control, delivered the opening speech at the Conference.

At the training conference , the trainees were informed and disseminated. on school vaccination and the role of school vaccination, coordination between the health sector and the industry Education in vaccination activities; Disseminate the content of the Plan to implement medical history checks and catch-up vaccinations for children entering school at preschools and primary schools in Cao Bang province in 2025; Instruct educational institutions to collect information on children entering school, collect vaccination history records, forms of communication, and counseling for parents and caregivers; coordinate with medical facilities Manage data and reports ; guide medical units on the process of implementing medical history checks and organizing catch-up vaccinations ; ensure vaccination safety, communicate, coordinate with educational institutions, manage data and report on vaccination work...

Through the training course, trainees will consolidate their knowledge, skills and improve their capacity in implementing vaccination activities at schools, especially in checking children's medical history and vaccination before school entry , ensuring that all children of the right age are fully vaccinated on schedule, effectively preventing dangerous infectious diseases that can break out in the school environment. At the same time, strengthen close coordination between the health sector and the education sector in managing, monitoring, collecting statistics and reporting vaccination data, thereby improving the effectiveness of expanded vaccination, protecting public health and creating a safe learning environment for children.
