Due to the influence of storm circulation No. 10 and Storm No. 11, prolonged heavy rains have caused deep flooding. 07 households in Lang Ly hamlet , Tong Cot commune From October 2nd until now , the water has just completely receded. The reason is that the hamlet has high mountainous terrain with many deep depressions , surrounded by many rocky mountains . The water from the high mountain streams cannot drain, so the water recedes very slowly, causing difficulties and affecting the daily lives of the people .

In the past few days, immediately after the water receded, Tong Cot Commune Health Station coordinated with the commune's departments, branches and organizations to support flooded and deeply flooded households to focus on environmental sanitation in isolated areas, and at the same time sprayed disinfectants on the environment, to ensure environmental sanitation, soon stabilize people's lives and activities and prevent disease outbreaks.

Through monitoring and support , the working group of the Provincial Center for Disease Control has visited deeply flooded households, discussed and instructed people on environmental sanitation and water treatment. At the same time, they directly treated water sources at 07 water tanks with a capacity of 6m3, 01 water tank with a capacity of 100m3 for households and 01 centralized water tank of Lang Ly hamlet with a capacity of 200m3 with Cloramin B chemical , to ensure domestic water sources, and instructed people on measures to prevent common diseases after storms, floods, etc. Collect water samples from the central water tank of Lang Ly hamlet and samples from households to test water quality. Distribute family medicine bags to 07 households in Lang Ly hamlet and 80 medicine bags to Tong Cot Commune Health Station.
