Soc Trang Province Association of the Blind gives gifts to visually impaired children and disabled people

STO - On June 20, at the Soc Trang Association of the Blind, leaders of the Provincial Association of the Blind held a meeting and presented gifts to visually impaired children on the occasion of the Month of Action for Children 2025 and presented gifts to blind and disabled people. Attending were Mr. Hoang Xuan Luyen - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Blind, Chairman of the Soc Trang Association of the Blind, members of the Standing Committee of the Association and philanthropists.

On this occasion, the association presented 29 gifts, each gift consisting of 500,000 VND in cash and candy to the children, the cost of which was taken from the Bamboo Toothpick Fund of the Provincial Blind Association. Mr. Hoang Xuan Luyen congratulated the children on the occasion of International Children's Day and the Month of Action for Children; at the same time, he hoped that parents and children, despite difficult circumstances, would still make every effort to overcome them so that visually impaired children of school age could go to school.

The association also mobilized philanthropists (through the Hoang Banh Youtube channel) to donate 200 gifts, each gift including 10kg of rice, 1 box of noodles and 100,000 VND in cash to children attending the meeting and the blind and disabled in the province.
