On April 12 and 13, in Pleiku city, Gia Lai Provincial Journalists Association organized a training course on journalism skills: "Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in creating journalistic content, multimedia journalism and producing digital content on social networking platforms by 2025".
The training course had more than 170 participants who were members, reporters, editors, and translators from provincial press agencies; central press agencies, ministries, and branches residing in Gia Lai; and Cultural-Information and Sports Centers of districts, towns, and cities.
The training course is a practical activity of the Gia Lai Journalists Association, contributing to improving the professional qualifications and skills of members, thereby promoting the development of local journalism in the digital age.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training course, Mr. Huynh Kien, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association and Editor-in-Chief of Gia Lai Newspaper, said: The Standing Committee of the Association opened a journalism training course on "skills in applying AI technology in creating press content" to improve knowledge and skills for members and reporters.
This is a practical professional activity to help reporters and editors keep up with modern technology trends. We hope that students will study seriously, acquire a lot of knowledge and skills to apply immediately to their professional work, to complete their work faster, and produce higher quality journalism.
Leaders of Gia Lai Provincial Journalists Association awarded certificates of high quality works to members.
On this occasion, the Provincial Journalists Association awarded certificates of high-quality press works to 33 high-quality press works in various forms: print, electronic, radio, and television to authors and groups of authors in 2024. Of which, 4 works were classified as A, 12 works were classified as B, and 17 works were classified as C.
