DTO - On May 8, the Party Committee of Thuong Phuoc International Border Gate (CKQT) Border Guard Station, Dong Thap Provincial Border Guard held its 4th Congress, term 2025 - 2030. This is the unit chosen by the Dong Thap Provincial Border Guard Party Committee to hold the Congress first, thereby gaining experience in organizing Congresses of affiliated Party Committees.

Party committees and Party cells regularly and effectively lead the tasks of participating in the construction and consolidation of political bases and socio -economic development in the area. Specifically, helping people repair and build 26 new houses, repair 2 bridges, 3.2 km of rural roads with more than 750 working days; promoting the role of the combined military-civilian medical station, providing health care for more than 36,000 people; clean water works serving nearly 300 households in the area...

The Congress proceeded to vote to elect the Executive Committee for the new term.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Van Minh - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Dong Thap Provincial Border Guard requested that in the coming time, the Party Committee of Thuong Phuoc International Border Guard Station continue to focus on leading, researching, thoroughly grasping the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws related to territorial sovereignty and border security; strengthen the building of a clean and strong Party Committee, improve the leadership capacity, fighting strength of Party committees, grassroots Party organizations and the quality of cadres, Party members, and steadfast political will; strengthen internal solidarity and cohesion; proactively propose initiatives and good practices to help people develop socio-economy, sustainably reduce poverty, consolidate the military-civilian solidarity relationship, and maintain the noble image of Border Guard soldiers in the hearts of people in the border area.

The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee for the new term with 7 comrades; elected the positions: Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee. Elected the delegation to attend the Congress of the Border Guard Party Committee of Dong Thap province for the term 2025 - 2030 with 10 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.
