In his opening speech at the workshop, Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper Nguyen Minh Duc emphasized the key role of Party newspapers in the country's development, especially in the period of promoting comprehensive digital transformation. The explosion of technology and digital media trends require press agencies to innovate their thinking in journalism, invest heavily in digital content and modern forms of expression. Applying artificial intelligence to produce attractive, multi-platform press products will help Party newspapers improve their competitiveness, while maintaining their role in guiding and strengthening social trust. The 30th workshop is an important opportunity for Party newspapers to evaluate practices and share experiences in digital transformation, thereby improving the quality of propaganda work, meeting development requirements in the new era.

The workshop is an opportunity for Party press agencies of provinces and cities in the Northern region to share experiences and promote innovation in the context of comprehensive digital transformation. The Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department highly appreciated the role of the press in the strong development of the capital in recent times and expressed his deep gratitude to the team of journalists nationwide who have always accompanied Hanoi. He said that digital transformation is not only a challenge but also an opportunity for the press to expand its influence and improve communication efficiency. Hanoi City is committed to continuing to create favorable conditions for the press to operate effectively, accompanying the cause of building the capital and the country.

Despite many difficulties, the Party newspaper will still maintain its leading position, continue to affirm its leading role, orient public opinion and make practical contributions to the cause of national development in the period of profound transformation.
At the workshop, the presentations focused on the following contents: improving the quality of propaganda content of Party newspapers; sharing effective digital transformation models; building a team of "both red and professional" journalists; protecting the Party's ideological foundation; preserving the identity of revolutionary journalism; developing multi-platform journalism; applying artificial intelligence in content production; strengthening policy communication; connecting resources between Party newspapers; accompanying localities in socio-economic development...
At the workshop, Hanoi Moi Newspaper officially launched a special page to promote Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress - a key content in information and propaganda work in 2025.
Also within the framework of the program, representatives of Party press agencies agreed to choose Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center as the host of the 31st Conference of Party Press of Northern Provinces and Cities in 2026.
Before the conference, Hanoi Moi Newspaper held the opening ceremony of the press photo exhibition space, displaying more than 30 unique Tet newspaper covers of Party press agencies of the northern provinces and cities and some units participating in the conference. In addition, the exhibition also introduced many propaganda publications about the Hanoi Party Congresses, along with meaningful professional, social and charitable activities of Hanoi Moi Newspaper. The conference was also a forum for exchanging and summarizing experiences in spreading the message of action about the proactive adaptation and determination to innovate of Party newspapers on the journey to accompany the country into the new era.
