Provincial Party Secretary Truong Quoc Huy inspected the preparations for the procession and enshrinement of Buddha's relics at Tam Chuc Pagoda.

Comrade Truong Quoc Huy, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation gave a speech at the inspection session.

According to reports from the units, up to now, the preparations for the Vesak 2025 and the procession and enshrinement of the Buddha's relics have been basically completed by Tam Chuc Pagoda and related departments and units. At Tam The Temple, where the Buddha's relics are enshrined, the solemn and festive decoration fully meets the conditions for the relics and ensures security and safety for visitors and Buddhists coming to worship and pay homage. The organizing committee has prepared hundreds of thousands of meals and drinks to best serve all conditions for visitors and Buddhists coming to the pagoda to worship... It is expected that during the 4 days (May 17-21, 2025) of the event, there will be about 4,000 people participating in service work at Tam Chuc Tourist Area, including over 2,000 volunteers who are students from colleges, universities and Buddhists.

To ensure security, order, traffic safety, and fire prevention, the police and military forces arranged 100% of officers and soldiers to be on duty during the event. The sectors, units, and localities involved in the organization have developed plans, arranged forces, and created conditions to carry out the tasks.

Speaking at the inspection, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Truong Quoc Huy emphasized the importance and significance of cultural and political diplomacy of the event. Therefore, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that the preparations for the 2025 Vesak Festival and the procession and enshrinement of the relics of Buddha Shakyamuni need to be carried out solemnly, seriously and safely, so that the event is an opportunity for Ha Nam to introduce the image of a land that loves peace, with friendly, united and compassionate people. Through the festival, international friends will once again come to Ha Nam, witnessing the changes, dynamism and creativity on the path of development and transformation.

The Provincial Party Secretary especially noted and requested Tam Chuc Tourist Area to coordinate with the police force to organize traffic flow on the roads outside and inside the tourist area so that visitors, tourists and Buddhists coming to worship are not congested or have difficulty moving. At the same time, ensure fire prevention and fighting, security and order in areas and points in Tam Chuc Tourist Area. The health sector increases its force, assigns and arranges appropriate human resources to coordinate with Tam Chuc Tourist Area to be ready to support people, Buddhists and tourists coming to the pagoda in hot weather conditions, which are prone to health problems. Special attention is paid to food hygiene and safety, ensuring both nutrition and diversity according to tourists' needs.

The working delegation inspected the preparations for welcoming and placing the relics of Buddha Shakyamuni at Tam The Temple, Tam Chuc Pagoda.

Kim Bang town and Phu Ly city strengthen their responsibility in ensuring environmental sanitation on the roads where the procession carrying Buddha's relics passes; coordinate with the police force to ensure traffic safety on the roads and strictly manage food and accommodation services for the people.
