Workshop on Digital Technology Enterprises Supporting the Promotion of Digital Payments, Development of Digital Economy and Digital Society

On the morning of October 12, the Department of Information and Communications in coordination with the Department of Information Technology and Communications Industry ( Ministry of Information and Communications ) organized the Workshop "Digital technology enterprises support the promotion of digital payments (Fintech), development of digital economy, digital society".

Attending the workshop were representatives of the Department of Information Technology and Communications Industry, Ministry of Information and Communications; leaders of Dak Lak Department of Information and Communications; and representatives of departments, branches, localities; associations, enterprises; credit institutions; individuals involved in digital payments and cashless payments in the province.

Mr. Nguyen Thien Nghia, Deputy Director of the Department of Information Technology and Communications Industry, affirmed the important role of digital technology enterprises in promoting digital transformation, developing the digital economy and digital society.

At the workshop, representatives of the Department of Information Technology and Communications Industry highlighted the role of digital technology enterprises in promoting digital transformation, developing the digital economy and digital society.

The Department of Information and Communications presented a paper on the need for digital transformation and digital economic development in local digital payments.

Some associations, credit institutions, and e-wallets have presented difficulties and obstacles in implementing digital payments by businesses and organizations locally as well as solutions to promote digital payments, digital economy, and digital society.

Mr. Ra Lan Truong Thanh Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, presented a paper on "The need for digital transformation and digital economic development in local digital payments".

Accordingly, the majority of delegates said that Dak Lak has strengths in agricultural production with high export value products. Dak Lak is also attracting investment in the industrial and service sectors.

Therefore, the development of digital payment solutions has a positive impact on the province's economy, helping businesses increase their transaction capabilities and facilitating business expansion.

This also means that technology businesses also have many advantages and opportunities when developing digital payment services.

Representative of Multimedia Communications Company - VTC presented the paper "VTC Pay e-wallet and digital transformation solutions for public service payment and accompanying businesses in developing digital business".

In Dak Lak, digital payment applications such as Mobile Banking and e-wallets are not only for transferring money and checking information, but people can also use a variety of utilities such as: bill payment, e-commerce, etc. Dak Lak people and businesses are increasingly registering to use the above services.
