Scientific conference of specialized schools in the Northern Midlands region

The 18th Hung Vuong Summer Camp Scientific Conference for High Schools for the Gifted in the Northern Midlands and Mountains - 2024 took place on March 23-24 at Ha Long High School for the Gifted.

The workshop was attended by Professors, Associate Professors, Doctors and scientists in the Advisory Council; more than 400 managers and teachers of 17 member schools and 2 observer schools from the provinces: Cao Bang, Vinh Phuc, Dien Bien, Yen Bai, Hoa Binh, Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan, Phu Tho, Son La, Lai Chau, Lang Son, Ha Giang, Bac Giang , Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Ninh Binh and Quang Ninh.

"The 18th Hung Vuong Summer Camp Workshop was organized to enhance cooperation and professional exchange between schools to better implementeducational work at schools. Thereby, contributing to promoting the capacity and recognizing the professional contributions of the teaching staff in nurturing talented students. At the same time, gradually raising the status of schools, meeting the increasing demand for quality human resources, contributing to the development of the locality and the country", Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hai, Vice Principal of Ha Long High School for the Gifted, emphasized the significance of the Workshop.

Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hai, Vice Principal of Ha Long High School for the Gifted, reported at the Workshop on the organization, results of grading the topics, and proposed exam questions.

This workshop focused on evaluating and classifying 158 scientific topics and 336 exam questions (including 11 subjects: Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Informatics, English, Chinese, French) proposed by member schools at the 17th Hung Vuong Summer Camp - 2023 held at Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted (Vinh Phuc).

These are all intellectual products, demonstrating the dedication and serious scientific research spirit of the school's teaching staff and are valuable resources, practically serving the training and fostering of excellent students at the national, regional and international levels.

On this occasion, the Conference awarded prizes to authors and groups of authors whose topics and proposed exam papers won high prizes in 11 subjects.

In addition, at the Workshop, delegates will discuss and agree on the plan to organize the 18th Hung Vuong Summer Camp - 2024, which is about to take place at Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted (Hoa Binh).
