(BD) - On the morning of April 25, the Provincial Political School organized a school-level scientific conference with the theme "Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification - Historical significance and value". Attending the conference were leaders and experts of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, researchers of the Provincial Historical Science Association, and staff and lecturers of the Provincial Political School.

Delegates presented papers and discussed further to focus on clarifying the main groups of contents: The leadership role of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh in the great victory of spring 1975. Evaluation of the stature, historical significance and practical value of the great victory of liberating the South and unifying the country. Profound lessons applied to the current cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Fighting and refuting the distorted arguments of hostile forces about the significance of the great victory.
The workshop contributed to remembering, expressing gratitude and honoring the sacrifices of generations of fathers and grandfathers who heroically fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; creating the greatest victory of the national liberation struggle led by our Party, in which there were important contributions from the army and people of Binh Dinh province. This is also a strong demonstration of the military art of our army in being proactive, creative and seizing opportunities; the strength of people's war, a vivid symbol of the patriotism, the will and desire for peace of the Vietnamese people.
