The delegation visited the elderly: Tran Thi Ngoc (born in 1935, Hiep Vinh 1 village), Nguyen Thi Sau (born in 1925, Hiep Vinh 2 village) and Luong Tam (born in 1935, Tan Vinh village). Accompanying them were representatives of the Department of Health , District Party Committee, People's Committee of Van Canh district and local authorities.

At the places he visited, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang kindly asked about the health and life of the elderly, and expressed his deep gratitude for their contributions to the construction of the homeland and the country. He wished that the elderly would continue to live happily and healthily, be a spiritual support for their children and grandchildren, and continue to set good examples in the community.
On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presentedthe President 's 100th birthday greeting cards and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee's birthday greeting cards to the elderly who turned 90 years old. This is a practical activity demonstrating the Party and State's concern for the elderly. The local government also affirmed that it will continue to care for the material and spiritual lives of the elderly in the area.
