Phu Ninh District People's Committee has just held a summary of the 2024-2025 school year, commending and rewarding 187 outstanding students in their studies.
Marking the achievements of this school year, Phu Ninh district students studying at high schools in the district, Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted and high schools in Tam Ky city participated in provincial, national and international competitions for excellent students and won 81 awards.
Of which, there are 2 gold medals in the International Mathematical Olympiad; the national excellent student competition achieved 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 3 consolation prizes; the provincial excellent student competition achieved 8 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 36 third prizes and 20 consolation prizes. Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhang - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Ninh district shared that in the 2024 - 2025 school year, the district'seducation sector continued to achieve proud results. The quality of mass education is higher than the general level of the province, always ranking at the top of activities, movements, and competitions at the provincial level.
In addition to the students’ persistent efforts in studying, the support of parents, the dedication of teachers, etc., the achievements of the district’s education sector are also the “sweet fruit” of the attention and care for the education cause of local Party committees and authorities. Investing in facilities, innovating education, encouraging learning and talent, discovering and nurturing excellent students are always priorities of Phu Ninh.
Praising the outstanding achievements of district students in the 2024-2025 school year, Mr. Nguyen Huu Binh - Vice Chairman of Phu Ninh District People's Committee said that from July 1, Phu Ninh will end its district-level activities and arrange to establish 3 new communes: Phu Ninh, Chien Dan, Tay Ho.
Accordingly, the district education sector proactively coordinates with relevant departments and offices to develop a suitable transition plan; ensuring conditions for teaching and learning activities to take place normally, stably and with uninterrupted quality.
At the same time, promote the role of educational management in new communes, effectively advising local authorities on educational work in the new period.
