Dong Khuong Village (Dien Ban) is recognized as a tourist destination of Quang Nam.

(QNO) - On the evening of June 7, within the framework of the opening ceremony of the Quang Noodle Festival 2025, the announcement ceremony of Decision No. 388 dated June 5, 2025 of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognized Dong Khuong village (Dien Phuong ward, Dien Ban town) as a tourist destination of the province took place.

Dong Khuong village tourist site has an area of ​​7.2 hectares; the north borders Dien Binh river and Dien Minh ward, the west and south borders Thu Bon river, the east borders old National Highway 1.

This is the space of many famous craft villages and cuisines nationwide such as Phuoc Kieu bronze casting, Cau Mong roasted veal, Nguyen Van Tiep wood, Le Duc Ha terracotta, Phu Chiem Quang noodles... In addition, there are famous cultural and historical relics such as Thanh Chiem Citadel, Doan Quy Phi Temple...

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Chau - Vice Chairman of Dien Ban Town People's Committee, the recognition of Dong Khuong village as a tourist destination of the province is an affirmation of the resources and strengths of the craft village, especially the core values ​​of culture, ecological environment, and strong community relationships of Dong Khuong village over many generations.

At the same time, this is also an opportunity, a challenge and a great responsibility that the local government and all local people must continue to join hands to preserve and develop in order to bring the brand "Dong Khuong Village Tourist Destination" to sustainable development, spreading widely to domestic and international tourists.

“Hopefully, after Dong Khuong village tourist site is put into proper operation, it will welcome more tourists to visit, experience the stages of creating baked ceramic and wooden products, and enjoy famous specialties of Quang Nam such as Quang noodles, roasted veal, etc. From there, they will have a deeper understanding of the cultural and historical story of the land and people here,” Ms. Chau hopes.

Dong Khuong village has the advantage of developing tourism as it is located on the heritage road connecting the ancient town of Hoi An and the My Son temple complex. Many years ago, this place was identified by Dien Ban as a tourist destination of the town. Some craft establishments such as Le Duc Ha terracotta, Nguyen Van Tiep carpentry... have also organized space planning, invested in completing infrastructure to welcome tourists but the efficiency is not high.
