On April 27, at Nguyen Van Cu Park, Bac Ninh city, the Provincial Ornamental Plants Association organized a pigeon releasing contest to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30) and the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1).

This year's contest has 160 bird cages with 1,280 pigeons from Ornamental Plant Clubs and Associations of districts, towns and cities in the province. According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the flocks of birds participating in the contest are all of good quality, carefully trained and selected from many previous contests.

The Organizing Committee bases on criteria such as: beautiful, tight formation of birds, distance, even wingspan, narrow and circular flock of birds, flying in groups vertically, reaching the highest altitude still in groups... to judge and award prizes.
The contest is an opportunity for Club members to exchange and learn experiences in raising and releasing birds. At the same time, it is a meaningful activity expressing the desire for freedom and peace , contributing to preserving, arousing and promoting the elegant and healthy hobby of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac people to people and tourists nationwide.

On this occasion, the Provincial Ornamental Plants Association awarded the title "Bac Ninh Province Flying Pigeon Artist 2025" to 09 artists.
The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the artisans with high achievements at the Competition.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 01 Special Prize, 01 First Prize, 02 Second Prizes and 03 Third Prizes to the artisans with excellent flocks of birds participating in the contest.
