Le Chan District Children's Contest of Drawing Pictures Based on Books and Newspapers with the Theme " Hai Phong - Brightening the Heritage Land"

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of April 12, the Center for Culture - Information and Sports coordinated with the Departmentof Education and Training of Le Chan district to organize the "Children's drawing contest based on books and newspapers" in 2024. Attending the event was comrade Pham Viet Anh, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee.
The 2024 “Children’s Painting Contest based on Books and Newspapers” is for primary and secondary school students with the theme “Hai Phong - Brightening the Heritage Land”. The contest creates a useful playground, a competition day for children to demonstrate their painting talent; at the same time, educates them to have a deeper understanding of the value of heritage, pride in the traditions and beauty of their homeland and country, and a sense of responsibility to care for, protect and promote the value of heritage.
This is also an opportunity for children to review the glorious and heroic history of the nation, especially to remember and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, to educate revolutionary traditions, to help them strive to become good children, good students, good grandchildren of Uncle Ho, to form and build goals and directions for themselves.
Through the contest, it helps children form and maintain a regular reading habit; helps them realize the importance of the Library, affirms the position and role of reading culture in developing thinking, creativity, nurturing personality, soul, enhancing awareness, law compliance, forming a healthy lifestyle among young people, promoting a learning society. Through the contest, the district's Organizing Committee will select 10 excellent paintings to participate in the city-level contest.
