More than 1,200 people attended the 2025 Job Fair

DBP - On the morning of November 28, at 7/5 Square, the Department of Home Affairs coordinated with relevant departments, branches and units to organize the 2025 Job Fair. The festival attracted more than 1,200 union members, youth, military servicemen, police and local people to participate. Attending and giving a speech was comrade Vu A Bang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the Festival, the leader of the Department of Home Affairs said that in 2025, the province created new jobs for over 9,000 workers, of which 198 workers went to work abroad under contracts. Up to now, the targets for job creation according to the Provincial People's Committee's Plan have basically been achieved and exceeded; job counseling and referral work has gradually developed strongly.

However, the reality also poses many challenges, such as: Uneven labor qualifications and skills; recruitment needs change rapidly according to the market; many young workers still lack soft skills, vocational skills, and integration skills. Therefore, the Job Fair is a practical solution to support young people in accessing transparent information, helping agencies and businesses select the right human resources according to market needs and helping state management agencies better orient local labor and employment policies.

Delegates visit booths at the Festival.

This year's festival has 32 booths of enterprises and training institutions inside and outside the province. Of which, 12 booths are recruiting domestic workers with a demand of more than 14,000 positions in many industries such as: Garment, electronics, mechanics, information technology, business, restaurant - hotel services...; 5 booths are recruiting workers to work abroad with about 200 positions; 8 booths are recruiting workers to work at enterprises in the province with a demand of more than 2,000 workers... Along with that, vocational training institutions such as: Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center 1, Dien Bien College, Dien Bien Medical College also participate in the booths, organizing recruitment consultation for more than 1,000 training positions in industries such as: Welding, industrial electricity, mechanics, automobiles, makeup, bartending...

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu A Bang acknowledged the participation of all levels, sectors, agencies and units in the field of labor and employment; at the same time, he emphasized that the 2025 Job Fair has an important meaning in providing labor market information, connecting businesses - training facilities - workers, promoting career guidance, vocational training and labor export. This event will support students, students and workers to confidently choose a career, improve skills to meet the requirements of the modern market.
