Attending the launching ceremony, on behalf of the central ministries and branches, there were comrades: Nong Thi Ha, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Bui Quang Huy, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union. On behalf of Dien Bien province, there was comrade Mua A Vang, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

In recent times, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has been concretizing the Party's policies with practical programs and actions, implementing many activities to accompany children and youth in border areas in a comprehensive, effective and sustainable manner such as: "March Border Month", "Spring Border - Island Tet", "Lighting up the Border"... Thereby leaving a deep impression, contributing to improving people's knowledge, caring for their lives, fostering patriotism, the will to rise up and the desire to contribute of children and youth in the Fatherland's border areas.

To create real change, a long-term, synchronous program is needed, mobilizing many forces to participate. Therefore, the Central Youth Union launched the project "Vietnamese youth accompanies children and teenagers in border areas for the period 2025 - 2030". Accordingly, in the coming time, the Youth Union, Association and Team chapters will deploy specific work contents to accompany children and teenagers in border areas such as: Supporting economic development, start-ups and career establishment for youth in border areas. Accompanying children and teenagers in digital transformation, accessing digital knowledge and applying technology in learning, comprehensive development and career orientation. Volunteering to ensure social security for community life, connecting resources of border communes...

Speaking at the launching ceremony, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy requested that provincial, municipal and affiliated youth unions proactively coordinate closely with Party committees, authorities, border guards, ministries, departments, branches, businesses and social organizations to synchronously and effectively implement the Project's activities. Select the right focus and key points, prioritizing support for especially difficult border communes. Strongly mobilize socialized resources, create incentive mechanisms, and spread the spirit of solidarity for the border throughout society. Promote digital transformation in youth, association and team work, help young people access new knowledge, skills and development opportunities, and eliminate the technology gap in border communes...

On this occasion, the youth volunteer teams for winter and spring, including: Volunteers for green environment building; Volunteers for health care; Volunteers for education; Volunteers for community support and propaganda; Volunteers for community digital transformation were launched at the launching ceremony. This is the core force participating in community support activities as well as helping students in disadvantaged areas, participating in new rural construction, taking care of community health and organizing social security activities.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Central Youth Union presented scholarships and gifts to students in difficult circumstances and gave gifts to people in Na Sang commune. The Central Youth Union also donated resources to support children and youth in Dien Bien province, including: social security projects and learning tools for students, and digital economic start-up courses with a total value of 11.1 billion VND.
