More than 100 supercars join the Gumball 3000 2024 Supercar Journey

The world 's largest supercar journey will also raise funds to support people affected by storm No. 3. This journey will take place over 2 days, September 14 and 15, 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The world's largest supercar journey, Gumball 3000 2024 from Vietnam has officially opened with important changes, in which responding to Ho Chi Minh City's request to reduce and postpone festivals and events to share with compatriots after storm No. 3, this program will cancel the music festival and side events, focusing only on displaying supercars.

This will be the quietest Gumball 3000 supercar journey ever, and also marks the 25th anniversary of this world supercar journey. In addition, Gumball 3000 will also organize a fundraiser to support Vietnamese people affected by storm No. 3, from now until September 23, 2024.

The highlight of the Gumball 3000 supercar journey takes place in Vietnam today and tomorrow, September 15, with the opening of Gumball Grid - known as "the most expensive parking lot in the world".

The central Le Loi street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) became the stage for 100 supercars, many of which are rare and unique in the world. In addition, there were 18 Trung Nguyen supercars on display.

At 11:00 a.m. on September 15, 2024, the Gumball 3000 journey will officially begin after the flag-raising ceremony, entering the first leg of the journey from Le Loi Boulevard to explore the famous Cu Chi tunnels.

On the same day, the group will move to Phnom Penh (Cambodia) and continue the next routes to Angkor Wat (Cambodia) - Bangkok, Krabi (Thailand) - Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and end the journey in Singapore on September 21, 2024.

Notable on this journey is the Koenigsegg Regera "Honey" version of the American tycoon nicknamed Dan_am_i, famous for his car collection of more than 100 cars. 1/3 of his supercars are hypercars and megacars, he is even a "crazy fan" of the Pagani car company with more than 8 cars.

However, in this Gumball 3000 2024 journey, he chose the Koenigsegg Regera as his companion. The reason the Regera appeared was because it was a unique version, meaning that Koenigsegg produced it exclusively for this player with 3 personalized details.

First, Dan_am_i's Koenigsegg Regera is the car's paint color, it's not bare carbon like some other Koenigsegg supercars, but also has a layer of finely ground diamond dust, which will sparkle when exposed to the afternoon sunlight.

Then, there will be no second Koenigsegg Regera "Honey" like Dan_am_i's and finally, the Honey logo when you scan the NFT code will take you to a video of the Swedish car company's founder introducing the car, as well as the exclusive song Honey by his son Christian von Koenigsegg playing the guitar and singing.

Other notable supercars attending Gumball 3000 2024 include; Pagani Huayra BC Roadster, Porsche Carrera GT, Bugatti Chiron and a series of Lamborghini supercars... Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu will display 15 Ferrari supercars along with the trio of Bugatti Veyron, Ford GT and Ford GT '67 Heritage Edition.

Vietnamese car enthusiasts are currently waiting for the Pagani Huayra BC Roadster as well as the Porsche Carrera GT to appear along with dozens of other supercars. The Bugatti Chiron and Bugatti Chiron Super Sport will be driven into Vietnam by tycoons in Cambodia from this afternoon.
