More than 120 new works at the 2024 National Music Festival

(CLO) The 2024 National Music Festival introduces more than 140 musical performances, including 120 newly composed works and more than 20 artists competing in vocal and instrumental solo performances.

On November 6, the Vietnam Musicians Association announced that the 2024 National Music Festival will take place from November 17-20 at Pham Thi Tran Theater - Ninh Binh Provincial Cultural Center.

This year's festival has the participation of branches, Vietnamese musician groups and artists from provinces and cities including: Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Da Nang, Quang Ninh, Ha Giang, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Gia Lai, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh...

According to the Organizing Committee, the works and performances participating in this year's Festival focus on praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the Fatherland and the theme of Vietnam's seas and islands; achievements and the new rural construction movement in our country today, the land and people of Ninh Binh, rich in revolutionary traditions and unique cultural traditions. Many works carry the folk music of regions, especially the folk music of ethnic groups in the region.

The festival includes two main activities: Introducing new works and compositions in 2023 and 2024 by musicians who are members of the Vietnam Musicians Association and performances by Vietnamese singers and instrumental soloists.

The festival will feature more than 140 musical performances, including 120 newly composed works, and more than 20 artists competing in vocal and instrumental solo performances.

The works and performances participating in the festival focus on praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the Fatherland and the theme of Vietnam's seas and islands; achievements, the movement to build new rural areas, the land and people of Ninh Binh, rich in revolutionary traditions and unique cultural traditions.

Among them, many works have the influence of regional folk music, especially folk music of ethnic groups in the region...
