In a document sent to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Training agreed to the plan for students, officials and teachers to have Tet holiday 2025 from Saturday, January 25 to Sunday, February 2 (ie from the 26th of the first lunar month of the year of Giap Thin to the 5th of the first lunar month of the year of At Ty).
So with this plan, cadres, teachers, school staff, and students will have 9 days off (including 5 days off for Lunar New Year and 4 days off for the weekend). However, most universities give students longer breaks. The reason is that schools are proactive in arranging training plans and school year time frames.
