Over 203 billion VND donated to the Fund for the Poor to help eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

Implementing the directions of the Prime Minister and the Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Phu Tho province, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has issued a Plan to mobilize support for the Fund for the Poor. The Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor has been established from the provincial to the communal level and launched the Movement for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses; calling for the joint efforts of agencies, units, enterprises, philanthropists and the people.

As a result, organizations and individuals have mobilized to support the Provincial Fund for the Poor with nearly 203.5 billion VND. Of which, Phu Tho province (old) received 18.39 billion VND; Vinh Phuc province (old) received 6.41 billion VND; and Hoa Binh province (old) received 178.69 billion VND.

From the fund, up to now, the whole province has supported 3,690 poor households to build new and repair houses, with a total cost of over 154.6 billion VND. Of which, Phu Tho province (old) has allocated support for 91 households to build houses, with a total amount of 4,365 million VND; Vinh Phuc province (old) has allocated support for 38 households, with a total amount of 2,060 million VND; Hoa Binh province (old) has allocated and disbursed funds to build and repair 3,561 houses, with a total amount of 148,246 million VND.

The program demonstrates the consensus, responsibility, and spirit of mutual love of agencies, units, businesses, philanthropists, and the people of the whole province in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor, so that no one is left behind. Thereby, contributing to the whole province in completing the elimination of 10,801 temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, reaching 100% of the plan.
