Along with more than 1 million candidates nationwide, on the afternoon of June 27, candidates from Thanh Hoa province were present at the examination sites to complete procedures for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam and listen to the examination regulations.

During the exam registration process, candidates were taught the exam regulations and exam room rules; candidates were given the opportunity to correct any errors (if any) during the exam registration process such as errors in last name, middle name, first name, date of birth, priority subjects, priority areas, etc.

To prepare for the exam, the Provincial Steering Committee for the exam, sectors and localities have proactively developed specific and detailed plans for all stages from arranging exam locations, preparing facilities, to human resources, plans to ensure security and safety for the exam, etc.

With nearly 36,500 candidates registered for the exam, this year the province arranged 75 exam sites with 1,586 exam rooms; mobilized about 6,200 people to participate in exam duties.

According to the Department of Education and Training, the number of candidates who came to complete the exam procedures was 36,114/36,480 candidates registered for the exam, reaching a rate of 98.99%. The preparation conditions for the exam at the exam sites were guaranteed, ready for candidates to enter the official exam day.

According to the exam schedule, on June 28, in the morning, candidates will take the Literature exam, with a duration of 120 minutes; in the afternoon, they will take the Math exam, with a duration of 90 minutes.

On June 29, in the morning, there will be a combined exam of Natural Sciences and Social Sciences, with a duration of 50 minutes for each subject; in the afternoon, there will be a Foreign Language exam, with a duration of 60 minutes.
