More than 4,450 billion VND to implement new rural construction

Implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction (NTM) in 2023, investment resources for rural infrastructure development and NTM construction in the province continue to be well mobilized with a total capital of more than 4,450 billion VND.

Mr. Dinh Xuan Hong's family, Dong village, Duy Phien commune (Tam Duong) voluntarily donated 70 square meters of agricultural land and dozens of square meters of residential land to expand rural roads.

Of which, the provincial budget reached nearly 860 billion VND (accounting for 19.29%); the district budget reached nearly 500 billion VND (accounting for 11.05%); the commune budget reached over 530 billion VND (accounting for 11.99%); the combined capital was over 1,000 billion VND (accounting for 22.68%); credit capital was over 1,130 billion VND (accounting for 25.57%); enterprise capital was over 141 billion VND (accounting for 3.18%); people's contributions were nearly 230 billion VND (accounting for 6.24%).

Thanks to that, up to now, the whole province has 130 villages recognized as meeting the standards of model new-style rural villages, 1 village meeting the standards of smart villages, 32 communes meeting the standards of advanced new-style rural areas; 2 communes recognized as meeting the standards of model new-style rural areas; 4/9 districts and cities continue to maintain the standards/complete the tasks of building new-style rural areas.

In 2024, authorities at all levels in the province will continue to effectively implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in a comprehensive and sustainable manner; improve the material and spiritual life of rural people; and improve the quality of emulation movements in New Rural Construction.

Continue to effectively implement solutions to mobilize resources to implement the program, striving to have 35 villages recognized as meeting the standards of model new-style rural villages; 27 villages recognized as meeting the standards of smart villages; 10 communes recognized as meeting the standards of advanced new-style rural communes; 10 communes recognized as meeting the standards of model new-style rural communes; 2 communes recognized as meeting the standards of smart communes...
