On the afternoon of June 5, in Gia Nghia City ( Dak Nong ), the Red Cross Emulation Cluster of the Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces held a conference to review the work of the association and the Red Cross movement in the first 6 months of the year, and deploy directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

The emulation cluster of the Red Cross Association of the Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces includes the Red Cross Associations of 10 provinces: Gia Lai, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, Dak Lak , Lam Dong, Dak Nong, Kon Tum, Khanh Hoa.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the provincial associations have effectively implemented many movements and activities such as: "Humanitarian Tet" movement, "Humanitarian Month"; organizing and implementing the Campaign "Millions of Humanitarian Steps - Continuing the Golden History", the movement "Good People, Good Deeds - Joining Hands to Build a Humanitarian Community", the program "Cow Bank", "Each organization, each individual is associated with a humanitarian address", mobile health care, medical examination, free medicine, building Red Cross houses, supporting livelihoods for the poor...

The total value of humanitarian activities in the first 6 months of 2025 of the Red Cross Emulation Cluster of the Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces reached more than 423 billion VND, helping over 1 million people in difficulty.

The total value of humanitarian activities in the first 6 months of 2025 of the entire cluster reached more than 423 billion VND, supporting over 1 million poor, near-poor, disadvantaged people, victims of Agent Orange, policy families, people affected by natural disasters and epidemics.

The work of building the association organization is considered a key task to improve the quality of association activities and the Red Cross movement. The whole cluster has a total of 1,802 association bases, with 14,215 branches with 323,600 individual members, 4,297 volunteer teams, 237,325 youth and 36,259 volunteers.

Promoting the achieved results, the Red Cross Associations of the provinces in the cluster continue to focus on implementing well the work of developing and managing members; promoting livelihood support, eliminating temporary housing for poor households and other movements, campaigns and activities. Units promote propaganda, community first aid training, innovate movement activities, focus on implementing well the work of arranging the organization of the association in accordance with the policy of streamlining.

Speaking at the conference, TUV, Vice Chairwoman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh highly appreciated the results achieved by the emulation cluster in general and the Dak Nong Provincial Red Cross Society in particular in organizing and effectively implementing many humanitarian movements and campaigns.
